What a discovery!!!

Ok... today's news is so groundbreaking and mind blowing that I cannot believe they made such a discovery!!

A study by psychologists from the University of North Carolina shows that men find thin, seductive women most attractive... WHAT!? NO SHIT!!! THEY SOLVED THE GREATEST MYSTERY OF ALL TIME!! Who WOULD have known?
I'de love to be one of those people who get paid a shitload of money to point out the obvious... You don't have to a F*ing rocket scientist to actually know something like this!

Recalibrate your Work-Life

|
Balancing work, family life, personal time, and other obligations gets way more complicated than simply managing your time and tasks in the workplace. Use this worksheet to find some life balance.

It's very important to get things done, but at the same time it's important not to go crazy in the process.

David Seah needed something concrete to track his life balancing goals. He created a Creative Commons-licensed tracking sheet designed to make tracking your work/life balance goals easy. He says:
"For my initial pass, I created a single sheet of paper to act as the focus of your day throughout the entire week. It's really just a glorified to-do list, designed around the idea of noting when you're doing the kind of things that you'd like to be doing every day. By the end of the week, you should get an idea of whether or not you were successful. Since it's a single sheet, you can keep it on a handy clip-board and carry it around with you."

Check out the full article below for more information using the Day Grid Balancer. You can download it or grab the source file to tweak it and make it more personalized to your needs. If you're already using some sort of tracking technique for your own work/life balance tasks, give this one a try, who knows, you might end up making a new version for David.

Yesterday a record giant closed store doors in one of the main cities of the United States, Virgin Megastore in Times Square is making way for Forever 21. "Everything Must Go" said the signs posted in the store during it's last days.

People went in to get their hands on price cut articles, but it didn't seem like a great bargain getting 30% off a $14.99 CD that's available for $9.99 in iTunes. This was last week when the closing was announced. Yesterday was another story. With products up to 80% off the retail price, the store was left completely clean.

News that in no possible way could end terribly, scientists found a tiny bacterium that has not been on the Earth's surface for 120,000 years and decided to resurrect it.

Researchers who found it say it could resemble microbes that may have evolved in ice on other planets. The team brought it back to life by keeping it at 2 °C for 7 months, then at 5 °C for a further four and a half months, after which they saw colonies of very small purplish-brown bacteria.

And I know I'm not a scientist, even thought I might sometimes get confused with one, but this sh!t scares me. I really don't know anything about bacterium but I have seen the movie OUTBREAK (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mj9SUJdpJS4) and it's scary.

Thats all for tonight. Read you tomorrow!
